A custom sake barrel opening ceremony, a sunset boat ride to an island barbecue, a live traditional Japanese drum performance over cocktails. The couple wanted their guests to be immersed in the sensual and seductive nature that is the Japanese culture. We found inspiration in the beautiful landscape, the still surrounding pearl-farm-laden waters and the sophisticated yet simple cuisine. This was the inaugural wedding at the newly opened Amanemu Hotel, located in Mie Prefecture, Shima and it's striking modern architecture served as the perfect backdrop for a weekend celebration with close friends and family.
