Makena and Brandon had an intimate wedding with their family and closest friends. A pivot from the original 200 person wedding in Atherton, we designed a long weekend of events with special attention to all the little details. They kick-started the weekend with a surprise cocktail reception on top of a mountain. Hosted by the mothers of the couple, it included an Iranian percussionist performance followed by a four-course dinner at the reflecting pool in the spa. The second night dinner was held on the brand new Camp Sarika patio next to the jaw-dropping red rock stone. The night was filled with heartfelt speeches, lots of champagne and a six-course Japanese meal. The wedding day was celebrated with a short yet meaningful ceremony (performed by Alison, actually!) then enjoyed a multi-course dinner with speeches from the heart. The night closed with a little dancing and a surprise performance by Rony, an Iranian percussionist.
